Where do we export our produce?
We are committed to bringing the best of Ugandan agriculture to the world. We currently trade and export to the UAE, Dubai and Bahrain, with plans to supply the Uk, EU, Canada and US markets with select clients. We are constantly exploring new markets and welcome inquiries from potential local and international buyers.
We do have a business focus on regional trade with oil and seed processors.
How do you ensure the quality and freshness of your produce?
At Blue Hippo Produce, quality and freshness are our top priorities. We work closely with our farmers and out-growers, employing best practices throughout the supply chain. This includes meticulous selection at harvest, proper handling and storage facilities, and efficient transportation methods that minimize travel time.
What’s the minimum order amount?
Yes, for export we look at orders of minimum 1 metric tonne and prioritize long term partnerships with a focus on consistent orders and building strong working partnerships.
What fruits and vegetables do you export?
At Blue Hippo Produce, we export a wide variety of fresh, high-quality fruits and vegetables grown in Uganda. The exact selection depends on the season, but we focus on avocado, matooke sweet potato. We are always happy to discuss specific product requests and availability with potential buyers.
